Dr. Stephen Ramsay – Senior Specialist
Stephen has served as Senior Specialist of Grey Owl Engineering since 2009. He is a highly experienced water and pipeline specialist who has been involved in consulting, teaching and research related to the oil & gas industries for over 30 years. At Grey Owl, Stephen has worked on all aspects of design, construction, operation and maintenance of pipelines in Alberta and internationally in over 35 countries. He has also appeared as an expert witness in numerous tribunals, hearings and trials in Canada and internationally. Prior to Grey Owl, Stephen worked as a Senior Consultant at Calving Consulting in Calgary. A professional engineer, professor and member of APEGA, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia followed by a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from the University of Cambridge, England.
